We selected Tauber-Arons Auctioneers to liquidate older CNC machining equipment during a closure of a plant in Buena Park, CA. About half the machinery was moved to our two sites in Hawthorne, CA, and then the remaining equipment, tooling, and ancillary items were sold after a fixed-bid was agreed upon for the items to be sold. I was under pressure to get all of the items out after the sale so the building could be cleaned and keys returned to the landlord on a timely basis. 35 years of accumulated items needed to be quickly cleaned and then auctioned. There were no surprises, TA Auctions DID EVERYTHING that they said they would do. I will use them again in a heartbeat when we do future acquisitions. Everything went well. The auctioneering portion of the move was the least stressful part of the entire project. The check was delivered to us right on time as agreed to within our contract with TA. I have nothing but good things to say about this firm that DOES what they say they will do!

Mayco Welding was met with a few unfortunate foreseen circumstances in past few years so we made the decision to discontinue operations of the company. Because of time constraints, our options were sale the shop as a complete unit to a starter owner or an online auction.
